Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
